Acara MBC PLUS x Genie Music Awards 2018 (MGA 2018) baru saja berakhir. Ajang penghargaan musik yang baru pertama kali diselenggarakan ini telah mengumumkan para pemenangnya di berbagai kategori.
BTS berhasil membawa pulang 5 piala dari kategori Best Artist of the Year, Best Digital Album of the Year, Best Male Dance Performance, Genie Music Popularity Award, dan Best Male Group.

Bang Shi Hyuk yang merupakan pendiri BigHit Entertainment, agensi dari BTS, juga meraih piala untuk Producer of the Year sedangkan Son Sung Deuk diberi penghargaan untuk kategori Best Choreography berkat lagu IDOL kepunyaan BTS.
TWICE juga sukses di acara ini dengan membawa pulang 3 penghargaan yaitu Best-Selling Artist of the Year, Best Female Group, dan Best Global Performance.
